About me and the web site...
| "The dark side of the moon"...
maybe the most famous Pink Floyd album, maybe the most
beautiful of their discography. Famous for its songs, for
its sells record, for its staying in the hits, for its
cover. In a perfect armony and balance, the Pink Floyd in
their creation were able, through the sounds and the
lirics, to break up, to analyze, to study the uman being
in every point of view: the life, the fear of died, the
businesses, the time. "Hidden" sides, but which
are part of each one, and during 45 minutes and 11 songs
are setting out for the first time in the musical
panorama. This web site, which title re-use intentionally the one of the English band historical album, doesn't want to reach the same level of beautiful, but wants to analyze the Formula 1 through every aspects, in particular the ones that the mass media don't point out. There are no dark sides in Formula 1 (in a "wicked" meaning), or at least those are not included in this project, but instead there are some dark sides, some hidden sides: hidden beacuse the mass media usually diffuse only one side of what the public can see, making so that the spectator eye is taken away from "the all" to concrentrate it only in one detail; or at least this the italian way. So are created prejudice, trivialities, false truths; absolutely absurd in a extremely difficult sport as Formula 1. So, from my position "counter-current" as for the italians standards (I'm a Williams and Jacques Villeneuve supporter, I like other persons in the Circus, but not "red ones"), I decided to create something unusual to write my opinions and my impressions about a sport that I follow from so many years, and which has given a lot to me in all this time. No special graphical effects (also because the means aren't big), only a very simple frame, heading the attention for the contents. So a voice outside the chorus, but also a reference for who doesn't support Ferrari and for who wants to speak about Formula 1; and the objective is to not stop in front of the press stories, but reaching some results with the own head. Because this isn't an "antischumacher" or "antiferrari" website, but if it must be a web site "anti-somenthing", this is a web site against the incessant "bombing" for obvious news and prejudices, which the only result is the creation of clonate minds closed in a jar of empty opinions, "premanifactured" and repeated in a boring way. So it would be useless for me create some web pages with a photographic collection of Williams or of Jacques Villeneuve, adding statistical and biographical data. It would be useless create a web site about the Formula 1, publishing in a "cold and anonimous" way the standings and the results of each Grand Prix. I wouldn'd made something new or different as for what is possible to find in the net in many nice pages. And so... this is "The dark side of the Formula 1": it's an analysis through hidden and forgotten themes, it's the Italy of Williams supporters, it's the Italy of Jacques Villeneuve supporters, it's the Italy of who follows with passion Formula 1 also when Formula 1 isn't a mass phenomenon; it's the world of who loves Formula 1. So, in these pages you
will find my opinions about Grand Prix, some my opinions
about the Formula 1 and something else. You can write me for everythings: Grand Prix and Formula 1 opinions, suggestions, critics, news, links, etc etc... don't ask me money... I don't have much... Good navigation!!! |
